If you are one of the many people who’ve been waiting for D-Link to ship the new wireless DSM-210 digital picture frame, your wait is over! D-Link is now shipping it!
I’ve posted twice before about the D-Link DSM-210 wireless digital picture frame, and now that it’s on the market, people are finding out how cool it really is.
Wherever you might keep your pictures on your computer - Flickr, Picasa, Facebook, FrameChannel, etc. - the D-Link wireless photo frame can access them and turn them into a slideshow that your family and friends will thoroughly enjoy.
The DSM-210 also allows you to stream internet content such as news, sports, weather, trivia, great art, NASA, etc. directly to your wireless picture frame. Anything with “RSS” on it can be accessed, in fact.
Remember this symbol? Watch for it when you surf the internet. When you see the RSS symbol, you can subscribe to the site you’re looking at and view it on your wireless DSM-210.
D-Link wireless picture frames are all FrameChannel-friendly, too. FrameChannel is an excellent content provider and the accounts are absolutely free, there.
Steven Joe, president and CEO of D-Link Systems, Inc., tells us that “Bringing this easy-to-use Wi-Fi and Internet-enabled photo frame to market is an important extension of our digital home strategy where the home network serves as a powerful platform to connect together a variety of devices beyond just PC’s. This 10″ photo frame (DSM-210) is an ideal solution for customers wanting to view not only the hundreds of photos stored on their PC’s but those they’ve uploaded for others to share over the Internet. It was also important that we provide our customers the added benefit of accessing content that interests them from the frame such as the latest news, weather and sports scores without the need to turn on the PC.”
Not only is the new D-Link DSM-210 wireless, it’s also GREEN! It has a power-saving motion detector, so when someone is in the room, the frame turns on, and when nobody is in the room, the frame automatically switches off, to save electricity.
The DSM-210 is wireless, but it can also be updated via most standard flash memory formats. Plus, the frame itself has a full gig of internal memory. You can hang it on the wall, or display it on a table or desktop.
The D-Link DSM-210 wireless digital picture frame has a 10-inch widescreen and a wireless remote. It comes with interchangeable black and white faceplates, but thanks to a partnership with Skinit (TM), D-Link has custom skins available, so if you want a specific type or color or style of frame, just let them know!
What a great wireless digital photo frame for only $249.99!

I’m sure you’ve all seen this symbol as you’ve surfed the web. Almost every website carries this symbol now, and it’s to its advantage to do so.
It’s to YOUR advantage when websites have this symbol, too. Any website that has this symbol on it anywhere (it will usually be in the url as well as somewhere on the page itself) can be turned into a channel, updated regularly, and shown on your wireless digital picture frame.
FrameChannel, as I’m sure you know by now, is the very best content provider in existence. With a FrameChannel account, you can subscribe to any or all of the dozens of fantastic channels already being offered, AND you can make your own channels with your own personal photographs, AND you can let FrameChannel manage any RSS feed, too!
In other words, FrameChannel can turn any website displaying the RSS symbol into a channel for you.
FrameChannel was already the most versatile, easy-to-use content provider, managing photos and other content (sports scores, museum pictures, NASA, etc.) from all of the major picture sites on the web.
From the FrameChannel website itself:Â “Add a text based RSS feed from your favorite news site or blog and FrameChannel will convert those headlines to images, update the channel regularly and display the news headlines and story summary on your wireless picture frame.”
What could be easier? Or cooler?
Just get yourself a FrameChannel account and let it manage all of your photographs and interests.
I love to shop at Target, and yesterday, as I was checking out the electronics department (Electronics is my favorite department in any store; I’d rather look at wireless picture frames, cell phones, and mp3 players than clothes and jewelry) (Yes, I’m a woman), I saw a crowd gathered around a display. I’d seen this happen in electronics before, and it’s usually because something really awesome is being displayed.
With electronics, of course, the best way to display something is to set it up and let it run.
That’s what they’d done with the Kodak EasyShare EX1011 wireless digital picture frame.
Customers were letting the clerk scan their wallet pictures and upload them on a computer, and from the computer, the wireless digital picture frame picked them up and put them on a slideshow. Everybody in the store was pushing forward, waving pictures of their kids, their dogs, etc, to see them on the wireless Kodak frame.
Talk about excellent publicity for Kodak!!!!!
The Kodak EasyShare EX1011 wireless digital picture frame is a fantastic frame, even without the need for some crowd control. You can get all kinds of faceplates for it, so it’s bound to go beautifully with any decor.
Since it’s wireless, you can send your pictures to it from a thousand miles away! I love that about a wireless frame!
At Target, right now, the Kodak EasyShare EX1011 wireless digital picture frame is only $249.99. What a deal!

I’ve posted before about the D-Link DSM-210 wireless digital picture frame, but this frame is so cool, it bears repeating.
Why is the DSM-210 so cool? There are many reasons, such as its sleek, classy “look,” its reliability, its wireless capabilities, its clear, bright picture, its easy programming, its support of all the latest wireless security measures. . . but mostly?
I think the DSM-210 is cooler than many other comparable wireless frames because the DSM-210 is FrameChannel-compatible!!!!!
I’m FrameChannel’s biggest fan, and my loyalty was won by FrameChannel’s absolute superiority over any other content provider out there. No matter where you store your pictures, FrameChannel can help you organize and use them.
The DSM-210 comes in your choice of black or silver, and it’s only $249.00. Awesome.
