I like the look of most wireless digital picture frames, but with just a few exceptions, most wireless digital picture frames have only the one “look.”
There is one wireless digital picture frame, however, that can have as many “looks” as there are paint samples in a hardware store. Photo-Vu wireless digital picture frames will give each customer a myriad of choices: choose the frame, choose the background, choose the contrast. . . choose it all. After all, a wireless digital picture frame will become the focal point of any room, and Photo-Vu will help you with the feng-shui of your home. Those frames at the top of this post? Those are just two of the choices you’ll have with your Photo-Vu wireless digital picture frame. Here are some more.
The fully customizable picture frame and matte are just two ways the Photo-Vu wireless digital picture frame is one of the BEST in the market today. You’ll have 19 inches of bright, clear, colorful photographs, videos, and RSS feeds. With FrameChannel as your content provider, you’ll soon be seeing anything you’ve got on pretty much any online photo storage website in existence, including Picasa, Flickr, PhotoBucket, SmugMug, Windows Live Frame-it, Apple iPhoto, etc.
You can also upload your pictures via almost any memory card or flash drive.
The Photo-Vu wireless digital picture frames have been described as the “Cadillac of the digital picture frame industry.” After seeing these frames in action, I would have to agree.
Manufacturer’s suggestion retail price for the 19-inch wireless Photo-Vu: $799.00
How many pictures are stored in your cell phone? A lot, I betcha. Who gets to see them? Um, you? And maybe whoever you’re having lunch with? Many of those cell phone pictures are great photographs, and isn’t it a shame they’re stuck in your phone where so few people can experience them?
I’ve written many times about the award-winning D-Link, and what an absolutely superior wireless picture frame they have, and everybody knows I’m FrameChannel’s biggest fan. Now, thanks to D-Link, FrameChannel, and a phone carrier called Cellcom, people can send their cell phone pictures straight to their D-Link wireless digital picture frame. Take a picture with your phone, and it instantly appears on your living room wall. Magic? Wireless picture frames are the closest thing to magic we’ve got, so far!
Remember that the D-Link DSM-210 is pre-loaded with FrameChannel software, right out of the box. You don’t have to load it yourself. FrameChannel can be used with most of the best wireless picture frames, and it works with most photo-sharing websites, such as Picasa, Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket, and even your very own personal photo storage file.
All that, plus dozens of awesome RSS feeds, and the ability to send your cell phone pictures straight back to your D-Link wireless frame, via FrameChannel, thanks to Cellcom!
According to John Meaney, director of field sales for D-Link Systems, Inc, “The D-Link wireless digital photo frame is designed to enhance the home entertainment experience by allowing users to view their favorite photos easily and conveniently virtually anywhere in the home. By offering our frames with FrameChannel photo sharing technology, Cellcom is taking that experience to the next level, adding another dimension of fun and value to its customers.”
Rob Riordan, executive vice president and director of corporate development at Cellcom, says that “The ability to take photos with your cell phone makes it quick and easy to capture unexpected special moments. And now, the collaboration between Cellcom, D-Link and FrameChannel has made it simple for Grandma in Florida to see photos of the family taken in Green Bay within minutes.”
Dorothy Gale would have said it thusly: D-Link and Cellcom and FrameChannel: Oh MY!

eStarling’s new Impact 7 frame has many features not generally associated with a 7-inch digital picture frame, the main three of which are its integrated WiFi connectivity, its own e-mail address, and the price: $99.99.
The 7″ screen has a resolution of 460 x 234, has a touch-screen border, and is iPhone – direct-to-frame-enabled. The wireless connection allows you to get images directly from most social networking pages, such as Flickr and Photobucket, as well as pictures from most RSS feeds like the National Geographic website. I hope this frame can use FrameChannel, but nothing I’ve found yet tells me so.
The eStarling Impact 7 wireles digital picture frame automatically turns itself off at night, so it doesn’t waste power.
Multiple frames can share one email address, too. This is perfect for families and friends who all have this same eStarling Impact 7 frame!
And if you are thinking just how great a frame like this would be for you, think how wonderful this frame would be for someone away at college, or in a nursing home!
