The Photojojo Time Capsule

shamrockHappy St. Patrick’s Day to you all.

Photojojo is a really cool photo website with dozens of creative, innovative things for you to do with your precious pictures.

I was reminded once again of one of those creative, innovative things when I checked my email this afternoon and realized it was time for my twice-a-month Photojojo Photo Time Capsule. I signed up for this a few months ago, and promptly forgot all about it, which is, I think, the general idea. Then, when my picture update arrives via email, I remember once again why I signed up for this GREAT feature, because I’ll be looking at a few pictures, carefully selected by Photojojo, that remind me of a person, a place, a pet, etc. that I haven’t actually seen a picture of in a while.

This is what I got today:

Photo jojo’s Photo Time Capsule March 9th - March 23rd, 2007
A selection of your most interesting photos from one year ago.

And there below it, was a picture of my mother when she was fifteen years old.

I cried, of course. Mom is 75 now. But there she was, at 15. Wow.

This feature is set up to use a Flickr account, but if you don’t use Flickr, Photojojo is very good about trying to hook you up via the photo feature you prefer.
