FrameChannel Is The Most Versatile Content Provide, EVER!

snakeThe FrameChannel channels are so diverse and wonderful and educational and beautiful!

I personally have signed up for Quote of the Day, Nasa Image of the Day, several National Geographic channels, local, national, and international headlines, the local weather report, and quite a few more.

There are so many positive things about having a FrameChannel account that I could never cover them all in one blogpost, but one of the very coolest things FrameChannel does for you is that, when you are cruising the long, long list of channels for your wireless digital picture frame, FrameChannel shows you exactly what that channel is showing at that exact moment in time. You can see what subscribing to that particular channel will look like on that wireless picture frame in your living room.

Just log in to your FrameChannel account and click on “Find A Channel” up at the top of the page. Once there, click on any of the categories listed on the left side of the page. That will take you to a long list of subcategories for that main category. To see what a subscription to that particular channel will look like on your own screen, just take a look; it’s right there. Real-time: what’s shown there is what would be shown on your wireless frame.

I love that - being able to SEE what you get before you make a decision. It’s like a sample!

If you like what you see, just click “Add to my frame,” and within seconds these pictures/feeds/headlines, etc. will be part of the slideshow right there in your home.

FrameChannel is the most versatile content provider in the business.

When You Have A Wireless Digital Picture Frame, People Will Watch It!

Posted on Feb 19, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

digitalspectrummineWe had people over for dinner Saturday night, and as usual, they couldn’t take their eyes off my Digital Spectrum MF8104 wireless digital picture frame.

For one thing, the weather here in southern Indiana has been really strange these past couple of weeks. One day it’s in the high sixties, the next day it’s in the teens, then we’re having a veritable blizzard, and a few hours later the sun is shining brightly. We had an ice storm so severe it brought down large trees, and the next day it was almost seventy degrees again.

FrameChannelIndiana’s quirky weather is one reason I subscribed to FrameChannel’s weather channel. It’s so handy! The weather comes up every few minutes on my wireless frame, and it’s always current because it refreshes itself every fifteen minutes! Heck, the weather on my FrameChannel station is more current than the weather on any internet widget I’ve ever used.

We also played trivia with the quotations channels I subscribed to. Then, we played “Where was this taken?” with the National Geographic channel, and everybody raced to try and identify all the people in the old snapshots that I scanned a month or so again.

In other words, when you have a wireless digital picture frame in your living room, people are going to look at it. Let me rephrase that: when you have a wireless digital picture frame in your living room, people are going to watch it.

They’ll watch it as though it were a television program, starring everybody they personally knew.

That’s kind of how it is, you know.

I can’t walk through my living room without stopping to watch my wireless frame. I love it so much, there are no words.

A Few More Reasons To Love FrameChannel!

Posted on Dec 27, 2007 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

FrameChannelI’ve been having such a good time setting up and playing with my new 10.4″ Digital Spectrum wireless digital Memory Frame ! Honestly, this is the most wonderful thing I’ve brought into my house since the babies, and the frame doesn’t require nearly as much care.

Some of you have been inquiring about how easy it is to get a FrameChannel account, once you’ve set up your new Christmas wireless frames, and how easy is it to USE the FrameChannel account once you’re ready to roll.

I’ve been “messing” with my own FrameChannel account for a couple of weeks now, and I can tell you first-hand that it’s a CINCH to use!

Just go to the FrameChannel website and open an account. They’re absolutely free, and there is simply no better picture storage service, picture library service, or subscription content service anywhere else on the internet.

How many pictures are you allowed to store on your FrameChannel channels? Well, I’ve got 858 personal photos on my account right now, and I don’t see any end in sight. How many of those pictures have I seen on my wireless picture frame? All of them! I’ve also subscribed to several other channels via FrameChannel: a Bible quotation-a-day, the local weather, two of my favorite cartoons (For Better or For Worse and Stone Soup) and some picture channels from National Geographic and NASA. There are dozens of channels, and an amazing variety, from which to choose!

Once you’ve got your FrameChannel account, log in and click on “My Photos.” Click “Browse” under “Upload New Pictures.” This will bring up your own desktop. Find your pictures, and upload them individually or in batches. (For a batch upload, highlight the group of pictures and then press “Open.” ) The picture names will appear in the box. When you get a few in there, or a lot, or one, press “Upload.” This will take just a few seconds for a few pictures, and longer for a big batch. The point is, your work is finished. Just wait until the pictures are uploaded and they will all appear in your channel to the left. If your wireless digital frame is plugged in and ready to go, the pictures will start appearing immediately.

See? Simplicity!

See? YOUR PICTURES!!!!!! My account is set on “random.” I love it. I LOVE IT!

These are just a few reasons why FrameChannel ROCKS.

One more reason: You can email pictures to your wireless digital picture frame! So can your friends!
