All over the web, people who went to the huge BlogHer conference in San Francisco are putting their pictures on their websites and encouraging each other to help themselves. On Flickr, there are several BlogHer 08 sets, and I should know, because I have one, too!
Most BlogHers had to wait until they got back home to upload their many BlogHer pictures from their camera’s memory card, but I didn’t. My BlogHer pictures were already slideshowing on my Digital Spectrum MF 8104 wireless digital picture frame before I ever set foot on the plane in the San Francisco airport for my trip back home.
I used an Eye-Fi card at BlogHer, so my pictures were appearing on my wireless picture frame just a few minutes after they were taken; my family in Indiana saw my BlogHer pictures even before I did!
Here’s the thing, you see: I set up a FrameChannel channel for my Flickr BlogHer pictures; in other words, every picture in the BlogHer 08 Flickr set that’s tagged “BlogHer08″ or “BlogHer2008″ is being picked up and included in the slideshow! FrameChannel is like magic! My Digital Spectrum MF8104 is like a magic mirror, and all I have to do is stand and look at it and it lets me relive all those wonderful memories of the good time I had at BlogHer 08 in San Francisco last week.
So, come on, BlogHers! Tag your pictures with “BlogHer08″ or “BlogHer2008,” and let FrameChannel be your content provider. Whether you’ve put your pictures in Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, Picasa, etc, FrameChannel can turn them into a channel that people can subscribe to!
You can make a subscribeable channel of anything, you know. It’s a great way to share reunions, parties, graduations, etc, too!

Apparently, everyone I know took lots of pictures on the Fourth of July, because my FrameChannel account is a lot bigger than it was BEFORE last Friday!
First of all, whenever I return to the house from wherever I’d gone, the first thing I do, even before setting down the bags of groceries, is go stand in front of my Digital Spectrum MF8104 wireless digital picture
frame and watch it for a few minutes, in case there’s something new on there. Lately, there has been something new EVERY DAY!
Tonight, I stood there watching my frame for what must have been a really long time, because I could feel the melting ice cream start to soak through the brown bag. I hurriedly put that away and came right back, because I sensed that my wireless frame wasn’t finished astounding me yet. Sure enough, another batch of new pictures started appearing on the slideshow, and then another! How do I know that two separate batches were coming through? Different children and pets, of course!
Children with sparklers, pets running off with stolen hot dogs. . . . smiling parents and grandparents. . . all the parties I couldn’t go to on Friday night were being played out right before my eyes on the picture frame sitting on top of my piano.
FrameChannel is so easy to use, and does such a wonderful job.
Which reminds me. I need to email some of MY pictures to a few friends tonight. With FrameChannel, that will take only a few minutes.
And in the morning, my friends and family will have new pictures to delight them!
I know that I’ve already posted several times about how wireless/digital picture frames are the top-selling holiday gift item of the 2007 season, but I just can’t help it! All over the internet, there is article after article, essay after essay, survey after survey, shouting from the rooftops that wireless/digital photo frames are NUMBER ONE this season.
Care to read another? I’m sure it won’t be the last.
Retrevo has posted a list of wireless/digital frames they especially liked. You won’t be surprised to see that one of their very favorites, the MF-8104 Premium 10-inch Wireless Digital Frame, is FrameChannel-compatible.
The Retrevo review can be seen right here.Â
I know I wasn’t surprised to see the MF-8104 on their list. It’s on everybody’s list!
