I’ve been having such a good time setting up and playing with my new 10.4″ Digital Spectrum wireless digital Memory Frame ! Honestly, this is the most wonderful thing I’ve brought into my house since the babies, and the frame doesn’t require nearly as much care.
Some of you have been inquiring about how easy it is to get a FrameChannel account, once you’ve set up your new Christmas wireless frames, and how easy is it to USE the FrameChannel account once you’re ready to roll.
I’ve been “messing” with my own FrameChannel account for a couple of weeks now, and I can tell you first-hand that it’s a CINCH to use!
Just go to the FrameChannel website and open an account. They’re absolutely free, and there is simply no better picture storage service, picture library service, or subscription content service anywhere else on the internet.
How many pictures are you allowed to store on your FrameChannel channels? Well, I’ve got 858 personal photos on my account right now, and I don’t see any end in sight. How many of those pictures have I seen on my wireless picture frame? All of them! I’ve also subscribed to several other channels via FrameChannel: a Bible quotation-a-day, the local weather, two of my favorite cartoons (For Better or For Worse and Stone Soup) and some picture channels from National Geographic and NASA. There are dozens of channels, and an amazing variety, from which to choose!
Once you’ve got your FrameChannel account, log in and click on “My Photos.” Click “Browse” under “Upload New Pictures.” This will bring up your own desktop. Find your pictures, and upload them individually or in batches. (For a batch upload, highlight the group of pictures and then press “Open.” ) The picture names will appear in the box. When you get a few in there, or a lot, or one, press “Upload.” This will take just a few seconds for a few pictures, and longer for a big batch. The point is, your work is finished. Just wait until the pictures are uploaded and they will all appear in your channel to the left. If your wireless digital frame is plugged in and ready to go, the pictures will start appearing immediately.
See? Simplicity!
See? YOUR PICTURES!!!!!! My account is set on “random.” I love it. I LOVE IT!
These are just a few reasons why FrameChannel ROCKS.
One more reason: You can email pictures to your wireless digital picture frame! So can your friends!
From TMCnet comes this press release about Digital Spectrum and FrameChannel!
