Sony Introduces Three Beautiful Digital Photo Frames

Posted on Feb 2, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

sonyframesSony is a brand name that connotes quality, and when a quality name like Sony decides to introduce a digital picture frame line, we know that those digital frames, too, connote quality.

These three beauties from Sony have 800 x 480 displays, and can scale photos down from up to 48 MB. This means you could transfer even large pictures directly from your camera’s memory card without manually sizing them with your computer. The frames also correct any red-eye problems automatically, and it also means the new Sony frames are able to handle photos taken with the most advance and sophisticated digital cameras..

Sony’s S-Frame brand of digital picture frames are plain, black, and elegant: typical Sony trademarks. The bright, clear LCD screens, coupled with the elegance of the frames, make the Sony frames not merely suitable, but PERFECT, for any room in your house.

Two of the frames - the DPF-V900 and DPF-V700 also have Bluetooth compatibility! You’ll need a Bluetooth adapter - sold separately - but with the adapter, these two frames can import pictures wirelessly from any Bluetooth device, such as a cell phone.

Ted Okada, senior vice president of digital imaging for Sony Electronics, says that “Digital photo frames are a natural addition to our line of digital imaging products. Our new S-Frame brand of digital photo frames takes inspiration from the style and features of our Cyber-shot cameras and BRAVIA LCD televisions. They give consumers a beautiful and technicaly advanced way to showcase their memories.”

You can even program these beautiful new Sony frames to turn on or off whenever you want, which makes them energy efficient, ie GREEN.

All of the many, many functions can be done via the wireless remote.

Your pictures can be loaded onto any of the three Sony frames with your camera’s memory card (with an Eye-Fi memory card, your pictures will be transmitted automatically!) or almost any flash/thumb drive. You can also transfer your pictures from your computer to your digital frame with the included USB cable.

The DPF-V900 will cost approximately $250.00, the DPF-V700 will cost about $190.00, and the DPF-D70 will be around $140.00. All three will be available in March 2008.

The Pandigital 7-inch Frame Is Beautiful and Easy To Program

Posted on Oct 22, 2007 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

The Pandigital 7-inch photo frame is one of the best ones out there, seriously.  It might not be wireless - yet - but it’s Pandigital, and the name alone connotes quality.

The Pandigital 7-inch frame comes with two different “looks:” if you don’t like the sleek black frame, just unscrew it and use the classy brown wooden frame.  And vice versa.

Display the frame on your desk or table, or hang it on the wall.  Your call.

And all those hundreds, thousands, millions of pictures you’ve had stored in your computer’s hard drive for years now. . . . pictures you took because the scene or situation was “just right” and you told yourself you were making a memory. . . . you can’t even remember now when you last took the time to view all of those pictures, can you.

With the Pandigital 7-inch frame, you can look at them every day, slide-showing across the screen, bringing back memory after memory, making you smile over and over again.

This frame is elegant, classy, and easy to program.

Ordinarily, I put a picture of the product on my posts.  Usually, I post all the details about resolution, LCD screens, etc.  Where is the picture, today?  Where are all the technical details?

They’re right here.  Just click on the linky-part, and you’ll see the Pandigital 7-inch digital frame in all its glory, and all its simplicity of programming, with all those technical details we need so much to know, brought to you by TigerDirect.

Coby Digital Frames Are Perfect Gifts For Loved Ones Who Aren’t Computer-Savvy!

Posted on Jul 30, 2007 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

cobydp102Coby makes digital picture frames that are affordable and beautiful. You know, wireless/digital picture frames have changed the way people are looking at their pictures. For one thing, with a wireless/digital photo frame, people can see ALL of their pictures instead of just one framed picture that never changes. Since most people store their pictures on their computer’s hard drive and then never look at them again, having a wireless/digital picture frame is wonderful indeed!

The Coby frames have crystal-clear LCD screens, and since they are not in the least bulky, they fit almost anywhere a standard frame would fit. Hang it on the wall, or display it on a tabletop or desk, just as you would any other picture frame. The difference is, the Coby digital frame displays ALL of your pictures, not just one. Cool, huh!

The Coby frames have built-in Mp3 players, too. Watch your children grow up before your eyes, accompanied by the soundtrack of their lives. It’s awesomely sentimental!

Load the Coby frame with pictures by using a memory card or flashdrive; this makes the Coby frame the perfect gift for those people in your life who don’t use or own a computer.
