MySpace and Facebook People Love Chumby!!!

Posted on May 19, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

A Chumby has no keyboard.  A Chumby has no mouse.  To program Chumby, you have to use the touchscreen.

Chumby is soft and cuddly, and it does many of the things a larger computer can do: news, weather, sports, email, music, RSS feeds, pictures. . . .you can even charge your iPod with Chumby, and listen to it at the same time!

Chumby is extremely popular with the MySpace and Facebook crowd.  This is the basic age group that hangs charms off their cell phones, and now, they’re doing the same thing with their Chumbys.

This is a soft, huggable digital picture frame disguised as a stuffie!  Young people are personalizing Chumby and making it their very own.  Chumby even has a store, where people can buy accessories for their Chumby!  There are over 600 Chumby widgets right now, with more every day.  You can even get a Chumby t-shirt!

Basic Chumby is still very affordable: only $179.99.

Whirlpool’s Kitchen Docking Station

whirlpool-centralpark-connectionWe’ve talked about the Whirlpool refrigerator with the docking station before, and how you can put this Ceiva digital picture frame on it. This has been available for a while now at Best Buy.

The kitchen is the most-used room in any house, and it was just a matter of time before someone would think of using the refrigerator for even more things. After all, someone is almost always in the kitchen, and if someone is in the kitchen, that someone is almost always utilizing the refrigerator in some way.

Well, Whirlpoolnow has even more fantastic ways to use the docking station. You can power-up your iPod; you can charge your tablet PC.

Check out this video from CES 2008 just a few weeks ago. It’s incredible!
