I posted yesterday about Kodak’s new Quick Touch digital picture frames, and it looks as though Pandigital is next with their new PanTouch digital photo frames!
Don’t worry about smearing the picture, either; as you can see from this picture, the “intuitive” touch controls are embedded in the matte around the picture.
According to the Pandigital PanTouch press release, “Customers can use touch and swipe motions on the surrounding matte to access digital images, Mp3 music, and video clips.”
Each of the three new PanTouch frames will have 512 MB of internal memory, and limitless numbers of digital pictures can be shown when using your camera’s memory card or your flash drive, depending on the size of the card or drive.
The three Pandigital PanTouch frames will be on sale soon. This looks like a good digital picture frame concept to me, and, of course, Pandigital s already known for the several great digital picture frames already on the market. Check out this new 7-inch digital photo frame from JOBO! Actually, there are two new 7-inch digital photo frames from JOBO: the PDJ701, with 1 GB of storage space ($179.00), and the PDJ700, with 128 MB of internal memory ($159.00).
According to JOBO CEO Johannes Bockemuehl-Simon, “These affordable new JOBO Photo Displays were created specifically to help consumers keep their memories alive and visible. Both JOBO frames have color LCD screens with 384,000 pixel monitor resolution. The slideshow option gives the customer even more opportunity see see more pictures. The JOBO frames include an alarm clock, calendar, and timer.
The JOBO PDJ701 holds more than 10,000 pictures, and the JOBO PDJ700 can store approximately 1,000 pictures. Both frames support JPEG and BMP formats.
