Reminder About Digital Spectrum Upgrade

Posted on Mar 16, 2009 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

digitalspectrummineThis is my Digital Spectrum wireless digital picture frame, the MF-8104, my prized possession.  On my wireless picture frame, my children grow up before my eyes; people gone from my life are here again, and experiences from long ago are once again new and fresh.  Included in the slideshow of my life, too, are things that happened five minutes ago, or yesterday, or last week.  We’ve got Eye-Fi cards in our digital cameras, and within just a few minutes of taking a picture, it’s already included in the slideshow, on the wireless picture frame that’s on the back of our piano.

On March 6, Emily posted about the Digital Spectrum upgrade, and I’m here to tell you all that if you haven’t upgraded yet, you really need to do it.  It’s easy, and only takes a few minutes of your time. Just download the new firmware, and get your activation code.  Then log into your FrameChannel account and enter your new code.  Complete instructions are in Emily’s post.

The difference is amazing!

You don’t HAVE to upgrade, but why wouldn’t you?  It’s AWESOME!

FrameChannel Saved My Family Pictures!

Posted on Feb 24, 2009 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

FrameChannel :: Manage your wireless picture frame. My computer crashed last week.  Completely.

I had just finished scanning and saving the last of my mother’s family pictures, too.  Hours and hours and hours of work, lost.  Or so I thought.

Guess what, though.  When I looked at my wireless digital picture frame – my beautiful Digital Spectrum MF8104 -  on the back of my piano, it was still slideshowing pictures, just like always.  Nothing seemed to be missing at all.

I logged in to my FrameChannel account and lo!  There were all my pictures!  FrameChannel was still pulling them out of my Flickr and Picasa accounts, plus, I’d saved most of them directly onto FrameChannel!

All that work, SAVED!  Thank you, FrameChannel.  I loved you before; I thought you were the best content provider before, and now I know for dead sure: you’re the VERY BEST content provider EVER!!!!!!

FrameChannel for the Holidays: Digital Spectrum MF8104 Wireless Digital Picture Frame

Posted on Dec 15, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 1:32 pm

The Digital Spectrum MF8104 is especially dear to my heart, because this is the wireless frame that’s sitting on the back of my piano, in my living room.

This is the 8-inch LCD screen that shows me a bright, clear slideshow of memories and events 24 hours a day.  (I never turn it off.)  It plays videos.  It plays music.  I get my weather reports from my wireless frame.  I get my local and national news there.

I’ve posted about the Digital Spectrum MF8104 many times, and December is one more perfect time because this wireless frame is exactly what your friends and loved ones want for Christmas.

The gift of a wireless frame is far more than just the gift of something to set on the piano or mount on the wall.  The gift of a wireless frame is truly the gift that keeps on giving, because not only can the owner constantly update the slideshow, anyone the owner adds to his/her “list” can instantly add THEIR pictures, also!

This means many things.  It means families keeping in touch.  It means that grandparents far away can see newborn grandchildren, minutes old.  It means that people can participate in birthday parties and reunions, even though they’re miles away.  It means that people in nursing homes and hospitals can still be a part of whatever is happening within the family.  It means that students in schools can see tangible results of tests, ball games, and daily classroom lessons and interaction.

With FrameChannel, all things are possible when it comes to keeping people connected.  And if you have a FrameChannel account associated with your Digital Spectrum MF8104 wireless picture frame, you’ve got the perfect gift, the perfect wireless frame, and the perfect way to keep in touch.

I believe that the best thing about all wireless frames is their ability to help people keep in touch.  With FrameChannel and a wireless frame, you will be giving the gift of active participation.  That’s priceless.
