New Pictures Appear on my Wireless Digital Picture Frame!

Posted on Jul 5, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

Have I mentioned lately how much I adore FrameChannel?  Oh, I have?  Well, I’m mentioning it again!  It can’t be said too often, how superior and wonderful FrameChannel is!

First of all, I never turn my Digital Spectrum MF8104 wireless digital picture frame off.  Ever.  I like to think of my precious pictures slideshowing across the screen whether someone is looking at them or not.  Every week, I add a dozen or so new pictures to my FrameChannel account; it’s simply the best content provider on the planet, and the new pics start showing up in the slideshow immediately!

I was away from the house all day today.  When I got back a few hours ago, I noticed that my wireless picture frame was showcasing some pictures I’d never seen before.

I stood and looked at the wireless frame for almost ten minutes, without moving a muscle.  One thing everybody notices when they get a wireless/digital picture frame is the fact that nobody can be in the same room with one without being mesmerized by the slideshow!  While I was watching, tonight, I counted at least thirty brand new pictures of precious relatives: pictures I’d never seen before in my life.  I realized that my aunt had emailed the pictures directly to my wireless frame!

Other relatives and friends have been doing this for quite some time, but this aunt is older and not all that tech-savvy.  The fact that she sent my FrameChannel account all those wonderful pictures is proof positive that nobody has to be very “techie” to use FrameChannel!!!!!

A new cousin is growing up, many states away, and I’m missing it.  WAS missing it.  Tonight, thanks to my aunt and FrameChannel, I got pretty well caught up.  I hadn’t seen Zach since he was born, but tonight, I watched him grow before my very eyes.

What are you waiting for?  Get your FrameChannel account NOW, and give your wireless picture frame’s email address to your family and friends so they can keep you updated on what’s going on with people, nearby or far, far away.

FrameChannel is like access to magic.  MAGIC.

My Wireless Digital Picture Frame Has Enriched and Uncluttered My Life!

Posted on Jan 9, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

I love pictures of my family and friends.

Until a few weeks ago, I had picture frames all over my house. Almost every countertop and tabletop and shelf was covered with all kinds of picture frames.  There were several framed picture arrangements on the walls, too.
Now, I have only a few framed pictures left in my house, but I’m able to see more pictures than ever before.  Instead of seeing framed, never-changing static snapshots covering the walls and shelves, gathering dust and constantly being knocked over by the cats, I’ve got just a very few regular framed portraits, each with one picture,  and a wireless digital picture frame that has well over a thousand pictures slideshowing across its screen daily.

And I haven’t even really BEGUN to upload pictures.

The thing is, with FrameChannel, uploading pictures is so incredibly easy; and once your pictures are on FrameChannel, they’re automatically and instantaneously included in your wireless digital photo frame show.

My ten-inch Digital Spectrum MF8104 wireless digital picture frame is my favorite thing in my entire house.  If I had to choose between my wireless frame and my furniture, I’d choose the wireless frame.  Yes, really.

And speaking of furniture and wireless digital picture frames. . . . I got rid of two small tables and a little bookshelf - I really only needed them to put all those tiny picture frames on - and I’ve got counterspace like you wouldn’t believe.

In other words, having a wireless digital picture frame has not only enriched my life and enabled me to see my entire life in pictures, it has also uncluttered my life and given me more breathing room.  Less to dust, less to trip over, less to constantly pick up after the cats knock it over, a lot more living space, and a TON of pictures to look at.

It’s just wonderful, that’s what it is.

Eye-Fi Card and Wireless Picture Frame: UNBEATABLE COMBO!

Posted on Dec 29, 2007 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

eyefi-memory-card-for-digital-camerasI got my husband an Eye -Fi wireless memory card for Christmas. He wasn’t sure exactly what it could do that his regular memory cards couldn’t do, but I told him he was really going to love it when he got it hooked up and realized what he had.

From the very moment I first heard of Eye-Fi cards, I knew it was something I simply had to have. My husband has given me Christmas gifts that were really for him all our married lives, and this year it was my turn. The Eye-Fi was for him, yes, but guess who is going to get her hands on it soon?

I’ve posted before about the wireless Eye-Fi memory card, and how fantastic it was and how easy it would be to put your pictures on your computer or directly into your photo-sharing website, but honestly, now that we - I mean HE - has the Eye-Fi in his camera, it’s even better than I knew it would be.

Our Eye-Fi is set to send pictures directly to his computer, although if you have Flickr or Picasa or pretty much any other picture storage site, you can send pictures directly there, as well. I prefer FrameChannel above all other picture sites, and as of yet Eye-Fi isn’t compatible with FrameChannel. My prediction? It’s a matter of time, because FrameChannel is rapidly becoming one of the most popular storage sites on the internet. There’s a good reason for that, too: it’s fantastic. More on that later.

Once Tim’s pictures are on his computer - maybe four seconds after he clicks the button on his camera - I can quickly flip them over to my FrameChannel account, where they are INSTANTLY picked up by my awesome Digital Spectrum MF-8104 wireless digital picture frame. In other words, by the time I walk from the computer room to the living room, the newly loaded pictures are already in the slideshow. It’s magic.

I think we can safely say that my husband now realizes exactly what he has. He’s got a magic camera.
