Put Your Facebook Pictures In Your FrameChannel Account

Posted on Apr 15, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

Many of us keep a large picture file on our Facebook accounts, and Facebook is all about the sharing! That includes our pictures, and the best way to share your Facebook pictures is to make your own Facebook channel on FrameChannel.

FrameChannel makes it possible to make almost any kind of channel you could ever imagine; it’s the content provider I use for my own wireless digital picture frame - I’ve tried others and they don’t even come close to the quality and variety FrameChannel can provide.

FrameChannel is also absolutely free!

To share your Facebook pictures, just go to the FrameChannel website and create an account; it’s easy as pie and only takes a minute. Then, whenever you and your friends add pictures to your Facebook accounts, the pics will appear automatically on your wireless picture frame. (Be sure to check the box in front of “Keep me logged in to FrameChannel” when you authenticate with Facebook.)

If you don’t have a wireless digital picture frame, you can still see your Facebook pictures AND the pictures of all your Facebook friends on FrameChannel itself, by clicking “My Channels” and then “Preview my frame.”

FrameChannel’s Many Channels Are AWESOME

hawksFrameChannel now offers its users 30 distinct NBA channels! If you are a sports fan, this is a fantastic way to keep current with all or any of your favorite teams.

foodFrameChannel’s food tips channel gives you inspiring photographs of lucious-looking food, along with handy advice of all kinds. The Food Tips channel goes really well with Pandigital’s new 15-inch digital cookbook frame. You could get your ideas from FrameChannel, and apply them to your Pandigital recipes! (Ideally, the Pandigital Cookbook Frame will someday become FrameChannel-friendly!)

dietAlso very theme-compatible with your food and diet interests is FrameChannel’s Diet Tips channel.

FrameChannel has SO MANY awesome channels from which to choose - or you can choose them ALL - for your wireless digital picture frame or desktop! I really believe FrameChannel is the very, very best content provider on the internet today.

Oh, and don’t forget that FrameChannel has six pages of user-generated channels, with topics so many and diverse there isn’t space enough on this blog to cover them all at once. If you get a FrameChannel account for yourself - absolutely free of charge - you can make your own channel, too!

My Digital Spectrum MF8104, which is my dearest material possession, uses FrameChannel, and so far, it’s been perfection plus for me.

Digital Picture Frames Are Like MAGIC!

Posted on Mar 26, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

jameslilypotterWireless/digital picture frames are getting more and more MAGICAL all the time!

I’ve posted before about how Harry Potter isn’t the only one who has a picture frame that seems almost alive by his bed. Not any more. Any one of us can have what Harry has, and we can have a moving picture frame that does even more than Harry Potter’s moving pictures do.

With a wireless digital picture frame and a content provider like FrameChannel, there really are very few limitations as to what you can see in your frame. Photographs, slideshowing one by one or in groups or in any formation you choose. . . videos. . . . movies. . . television programs. . . podcasts. . . streaming internet radio. . . . mp3’s. . . . Harry Potter’s magical picture frame merely showed the same picture over and over again, alive and moving, yes, but just the one picture. YOUR wireless digital picture frame, on the other hand, can make Harry’s picture frame look like still life, because yours can do ever so much more, even if it’s not REALLY magic.

Or is it?

The late Arthur C. Clarke said it best: “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”

FrameChannel Is The Most Versatile Content Provide, EVER!

Posted on Mar 22, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

snakeThe FrameChannel channels are so diverse and wonderful and educational and beautiful!

I personally have signed up for Quote of the Day, Nasa Image of the Day, several National Geographic channels, local, national, and international headlines, the local weather report, and quite a few more.

There are so many positive things about having a FrameChannel account that I could never cover them all in one blogpost, but one of the very coolest things FrameChannel does for you is that, when you are cruising the long, long list of channels for your wireless digital picture frame, FrameChannel shows you exactly what that channel is showing at that exact moment in time. You can see what subscribing to that particular channel will look like on that wireless picture frame in your living room.

Just log in to your FrameChannel account and click on “Find A Channel” up at the top of the page. Once there, click on any of the categories listed on the left side of the page. That will take you to a long list of subcategories for that main category. To see what a subscription to that particular channel will look like on your own screen, just take a look; it’s right there. Real-time: what’s shown there is what would be shown on your wireless frame.

I love that - being able to SEE what you get before you make a decision. It’s like a sample!

If you like what you see, just click “Add to my frame,” and within seconds these pictures/feeds/headlines, etc. will be part of the slideshow right there in your home.

FrameChannel is the most versatile content provider in the business.
