Mother’s Day is coming on soon; this year, it’s on May 10th. Are you ready?
Let me give you a little hint. Your mom doesn’t want flowers or candy or knick-knacks this year. She doesnt need any more perfume. She already has tons of hankies and scarves.
What your mom wants is a wireless digital picture frame. I know this. I’m a mom, and my Digital Spectrum MF8104 is my favorite possession. Your mom would love one, too.
Now, this regular wooden frame is an attractive picture frame. It would look well on your wall, or on your piano, or anywhere you put it, actually. It’s a really nice black wooden picture frame. The framed photograph is bright and clear, and if you gave your mother a picture of her grandchildren, framed exactly like this, she would probably love it. She would put it on the wall or on her desk, and occasionally she would look at it and smile.
This second picture frame, however, is a Digital Spectrum MF8104. It, too, is an attractive picture frame, and it, too, would look well on your wall, or on your piano, or anywhere you put it. It’s a really nice wooden frame. The framed photograph. . . but wait. The Digital Spectrum MF8104 doesn’t have just ONE framed photograph. I can tell you, first-hand, that MY Digital Spectrum MF8104 has well over four thousand framed photographs. Thanks to my FrameChannel account, that number is growing, too. If you
gave your mother four thousand photographs of her grandchildren, children, dogs, cats, relatives, friends, neighbors, vacations, old school days, etc, she would absolutely love it. She would put it on the wall or on her desk and she would look at it four dozen times a day and smile. The MF8104 is also wireless, so you could send your mother new pictures as quickly as you could take them. Or, if your mom doesn’t have a wireless connection in her house, you could load up a big memory card – you can get an 8 gig Sandisk card on Amazon for amazingly low prices – so her frame would be ready to go as soon as she unwrapped it and plugged it in.
Or, you could get her more perfume. And a big bouquet of flowers that will die in a week.
She’s your mother. You decide.
But you’d better decide quickly, because Mother’s Day is May 10th.

The D-link wireless digital picture frame has been on the market for a few months now, and people are still loving it!
I’ve posted twice before about the D-Link DSM-210 wireless digital picture frame, and now that it’s on the market, people are finding out how cool it really is.
Wherever you might keep your pictures on your computer – Flickr, Picasa, Facebook, FrameChannel, etc. – the D-Link wireless photo frame can access them and turn them into a slideshow that your family and friends will thoroughly enjoy.
The DSM-210 also allows you to stream internet content such as news, sports, weather, trivia, great art, NASA, etc. directly to your wireless picture frame. Anything with “RSS” on it can be accessed, in fact.
Remember this symbol? Watch for it when you surf the internet. When you see the RSS symbol, you can subscribe to the site you’re looking at and view it on your wireless DSM-210.
D-Link wireless picture frames are all FrameChannel-friendly, too. FrameChannel is an excellent content provider and the accounts are absolutely free, there.
Steven Joe, president and CEO of D-Link Systems, Inc., tells us that “Bringing this easy-to-use Wi-Fi and Internet-enabled photo frame to market is an important extension of our digital home strategy where the home network serves as a powerful platform to connect together a variety of devices beyond just PC’s. This 10″ photo frame (DSM-210) is an ideal solution for customers wanting to view not only the hundreds of photos stored on their PC’s but those they’ve uploaded for others to share over the Internet. It was also important that we provide our customers the added benefit of accessing content that interests them from the frame such as the latest news, weather and sports scores without the need to turn on the PC.”
Not only is the new D-Link DSM-210 wireless, it’s also GREEN! It has a power-saving motion detector, so when someone is in the room, the frame turns on, and when nobody is in the room, the frame automatically switches off, to save electricity.
The DSM-210 is wireless, but it can also be updated via most standard flash memory formats. Plus, the frame itself has a full gig of internal memory. You can hang it on the wall, or display it on a table or desktop.
The D-Link DSM-210 wireless digital picture frame has a 10-inch widescreen and a wireless remote. It comes with interchangeable black and white faceplates, but thanks to a partnership with Skinit (TM), D-Link has custom skins available, so if you want a specific type or color or style of frame, just let them know!
What a great wireless digital photo frame for only $249.99!

There’s a fantastic review of the two new 8 and 10-inch Kodak wireless digital photo frames over on the Techy Boys’ website, and it’s well worth reading!
The TechyBoys also like FrameChannel! “I find FrameChannel to be rather interesting as it provides users with access to the latest news, weather, traffic, sports scores and more with a single touch. In addition, FrameChannel doubles up as a portal enabling access to images from popular photo-sharing and social networking web sites.”
