is iPad the ultimate photo frame?
With the new announcement of the iPad from Apple, do we finally have the ultimate photo frame experience. When we launched FrameChannel we used to call a WiFi photo frame with FrameChannel the “iPhone on the wall” … and now with the iPad and our FrameChannel app, this will be a reality. Sure the iPad can do a lot more but when its idle there will be no better experience for photos and information than to use FrameChannel as the perfect screensaver for your Apple iPad. And when you approach the device, FrameChannel will give you one click access to the content that matters to you most.

All you need is the iBracket and “Wireless syncing” to make your iPad the ultimate wireless picture frame.

I bought an iPad for the primary reason of a digital picture frame. I have written a fairly comprehensive piece on my thoughts and experience so far. I tried to cover all the things I was looking for when I researched the iPad as a digital picture frame, as 99% of reviews only mentioned the picture frame button. My piece tries to go a little bit deeper.
Hopefully it helps people who are thinking about an iPad as digital picture frame.

This was my immediate first thought – well, after snickering about the name. I can imagine a wall mounted docking station that links wirelessly with iTV, iPhoto on your desktop or a web-based album (Picasa?). Seems like a good idea – think I’ll trademark it.
