The Best Photos Far and Wide
In the old days, you used to have extra special photos enlarged to really bring out the best in them. Now, at the IFA trade fair, Hama is demonstrating a digital way to enlarge digital photos – with the 15” Digital Photo Frame.

The TFT-LC display presents images and videos at a screen diagonal of 38.10 cm, in the 4:3 format and at a resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels. The image display is perfected with background music from MP3 files. And if that’s still not interesting enough, you can zoom in and out of the images, rotate them, create a slide-show or configure split screen mode. A time display, calendar, alarm, timer switch function and adjustable image display duration make this large picture frame the i

deal desk accessory.

Intel Digital Picture Frame All Set Up At BlogHer09!

Posted on Jul 28, 2009 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

dscf2846This is Karen Regis, Intel’s director of consumer client marketing.  Her kiosk was set up at BlogHer, which took place in Chicago just this past weekend.

Her display consisted of several fantastic Intel products, besides the wireless/digital frame, and people were clustered around her, fascinated by them all.  People were particularly interested in the wireless/digital frame while I was there.

Karen graciously gave me permission to post her picture here, and I’m happy to do it and happy to “plug” Intel, because the very fact that Intel had a kiosk at BlogHer tells me that Intel is a company that understands how to market its products to women.

Many people had never seen a wireless/digital picture frame that close up before!  I was hearing all kinds of comments about how wonderful such a frame would be for a wedding gift, a shower gift, schools, lobbies, front desks,  birthday, Christmas, parents, for expectant parents, for grandparents, for aunts, uncles, cousins.  . . . . You know, the same thing I’ve been talking about right here for the past several years!  Only at the BlogHer conference, these words were coming out of the mouths of hundreds and hundreds of women bloggers who were seeing a product being demonstrated, having all their questions answered, and overall being treated like a viable customer whose business MATTERED to Intel.  Which, since Intel had a booth at BlogHer, our business obviously DOES.

Good for you, Intel, for having the foresight and the guts to spread your products out on a table for all theBlogHer community to see.  Kudos to your marketing department as well.  You obviously understand that the Blogosphere is the largest word-of-mouth marketing campaign in the world,  and that if a business wants its product or service known and praised,  there’s NO campaign like the campaign of a blogger!

Everyone at the Intel booth was knowledgeable and polite, too.  Way to go, Intel.  You rock.

Otherwise, the frames are fairly conventional, with 2GB of integrated storage space, a remote control, and a reader for CF, SD, and Memory Stick memory cards. Pricing and release dates for the DreamScreen frames is not yet known.
