Amex Digital Picture Frame/Weather Station

AMEXweatherstationYesterday, I posted about the new AMEX digital picture frame/clock radio. Today, I’ll be talking about the new AMEX digital picture frame/weather station!

With a resolution of 800 x 480, the 7-inch color TFT LCD  screen gives you bright, clear, colorful digital pictures.  The AMEX frame can be used with almost any memory card, too. Besides digital photographs, this frame also shows videos and plays your favorite Mp3’s.  In fact, this digital picture frame/weather station can handle any JPG/AVI/Mpeg1,2,4/ and MP3.

Besides being a very good digital picture frame, the AMEX is also a clock radio and a weather station.  Its default icons indicate the weather forecast, be it sunny, cloudy, slightly cloudy, rainy, stormy or snowy, and there is also a barometric pressure trend indicator.

The RF 433MHz wireless thermometer/hygrometer links up to 5 remote sensors, with auto scroll, and will also show sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset, and the locations of the sun and moon.

What weather indicator would be complete without a humidity chart?  I live in southern Indiana, and we are more interested in the humidity than in the actual temperature!

Like yesterday’s AMEX digital picture frame/clock radio, today’s digital picture frame/weather station has a radio controlled clock with quartz backup, and a wireless remote.

Manufacturer’s suggestion price:  $139.00.
