Posted on Aug 30, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

kodakeasyshareEX1011There’s a fantastic review of the two new 8 and 10-inch Kodak wireless digital photo frames over on the Techy Boys’ website, and it’s well worth reading!

The TechyBoys also like FrameChannel! “I find FrameChannel to be rather interesting as it provides users with access to the latest news, weather, traffic, sports scores and more with a single touch. In addition, FrameChannel doubles up as a portal enabling access to images from popular photo-sharing and social networking web sites.”

Samsung’s New Wireless/Digital Frames Are Ready for Market!

Posted on Aug 28, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

Both Emily and I have posted here previously about Samsung’s new wireless/digital picture frames, which became available on September 1, and both of us had only good things to say about them! Well, get ready, because according to MarketWatch, the newest Samsung frames are ready for market; on October 1, the SPF-105P will be offered for an estimated price of $199.99, and on November 1, the SPF-105V will be available for $2889.99.

The new Samsung frames are elegant and classy, and will suit any decor. Samsung’s exclusive Starlight Touch Controls are featured on both frames, which means that the touch features disappear after ten seconds of inactivity.

According to Jeff Muto, Samsung’s Display Product Manager, “Samsung has identified a need in the market for quality photo frames that offer improved fromt of screen performance, quality design and enhanced versatility. Using Samsung’s UbiSync feature is as simple as plugging the photo frame into your USB port. Then you can have a secondary monitor for your media player, tool palettes or whatever your needs may be. With other built-in features like WiFi for easy photo sharing, and auto-resize functionality which enhances ease of use, these new digital photo push the versatility envelope.”

Both the SPF-85V and the newer SPF-105V are wireless digital picture frames, and you will be able to view all the pictures in your computer’s hard drive, WIRELESSLY, via most picture programs and content providers. I, naturally, recommend FrameChannel, because, well, not to mince words, it’s the BEST ONE.

The JOBO Mirage L digital picture frame will display your digital photographs beautifully on its large 15-inch glass display, and when it’s turned OFF, the JOBO Mirage L turns into an elegant mirror. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

The New GiiNii Digital Picture Frame is Ultra-Thin

Posted on Aug 26, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

The new GiiNii 8-inch digital picture frame is not only beautiful and functional, it’s also thinner than most other digital frames.  In fact, this frame is 54% thinner than most other digital photo frames.  This gives you much more diversity when choosing a wall to hang it on!

Of course, you don’t have to hang it on the wall; it also looks wonderful on the back of your piano, or on a table or bookshelf.

It comes with both a wood frame and a metallic frame, which makes it suit any decor you might have in your home.

GiiNii Chief Marketing Officer Dennis Sones says, “If your favorite digital photos from summer are of family members or pets, scenic vistas or summer parties, GiiNii’s 8-inch Ultra-Thin Digital Picture Frame beautifully showcases them anywhere in your home or office.”

The high resolution (800 x 600) LCD screen and 4:3 aspect ratio guarantees that your precious pictures will be crisp and clear from every possible angle.

Even though the GiiNii digital frame is just .78 inches deep, it can still store hundreds of digital pictures with its 128 MB of internal memory.  You can also upgrade to 512 MB if you care to do that.

This frame will start to work the moment you plug it in.  It comes with a pre-installed slideshow of beautiful pictures and some nice music, but to view your own photographs, simply insert your camera’s memory card or a flash drive.

Not only does the GiiNii Digital Picture Frame slideshow your pictures, it also displays videos and plays your favorite Mp3’s.

This digital frame is also GREEN, because it automatically shuts down at night when the lights go off, and turns back on in the morning when the light hits it.

It’s also got a calendar and alarm clock.

Right now, the GiiNii 8-inch Ultra-Thin Digital Picture Frame is retailing for around $120.00, and is available at Walmart, both in-store and online.  It can also be found on Amazon and other electronics stores.
