Samsung Introduces New Wireless SPF-85V Digital Frame
Last December, Emily reported here that Samsung had introduced a new wireless digital picture frame - the SPF-83V.
Today, I am happy to report that Samsung has introduced another wireless digital picture frame - the SPF-85V.
The Samsung SPF-85V is compatible with most photo sharing programs, such as Windows Live Spaces, Picasa, Flickr, Smugmug, etc, and in order to manage all of that content, what could be better than FrameChannel, the best content provider EVER?
I like the square screen; so often, my pictures don’t “fill up” a widescreen frame, probably because I have so many old, oddly-shaped snapshots that have been scanned into my computer. The Samsung screen is perfect!
The Samsung SPF-85V has an 8-inch TFT LCD screen and a 4:3 aspect ratio, with a pixel format of 800 x 600.
The WiFi connectivity makes this a really excellent digital frame for people who have a LOT of pictures stored in their computer’s hard drive. You can also, of course, upload your pictures via the included USB cable, or with your camera’s memory card or a flash drive.
I like the “look” of this wireless frame, too; the column of buttons on the right side give it a unique personality.
I’ve seen the wireless digital Samsung SPF-85V frame advertised at $225.00.
