Kodak and FrameChannel partner to place interactive content at consumer’s fingertips

At a media event yesterday, Kodak unveiled their new wifi-enabled digital frame. This one of a kind, feature-packed wireless digital frame series features innovative capabilities and accessibility to online content. Available in 10-inch and 8-inch versions, these frames take advantage of FrameChannel as the primary content provider.
The first frame on the market to take the information appliance approach to the next level, these Kodak frames will feature on demand content provided by FrameChannel. With FrameChannel’s 400+ channels of content, Kodak’s on demand feature will allow customers to access the information they want, when they want it, with the touch of a button. The new Kodak frames are not ordinary picture frames — they are a window to the world. Customers can define content sets for on demand content, bringing news, weather, sports, finance, and much more to the frame owner’s fingertips.
Kodak users can still use FrameChannel to manage and display their online photos from multiple photo-sharing sites. The Kodak frame will also connect consumers to other sites including KODAK Gallery and Flickr(TM).
These frames will be available at retail and online at Kodak.com in the coming months. Recommended pricing is available at www.kodak.com.
