The Fidelity Digital Photo Vault: 80GB of Storage!

Posted on May 31, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

fidelity80gFidelity’s new 8-inch digital picture frame has tons of storage – 80 GB, to be exact. You can store a lot of pictures, Mp3’s, and videos in this digital photo frame!

Not only does this new Fidelity digital picture frame have more internal storage space than almost any other digital frame on the market today, its hard drive can be expanded via flash memory, too.

Add to these already awesome stats the fact that the new Fidelity digital frame has a motion sensor – the frame won’t waste electricity by doing its ’thing’ unless someone is in the room to see it, but the second someone walks into the room, the digital frame will power up. It’s a GREEN digital frame!

I’m not finished bragging on this digital frame yet: there won’t be any bulky, unsightly cords to deal with if you use the rechargeable batteries.

According to Richard Kizner, Director of Marketing for Fidelity Electronics, “The Digital Photo Vault is a big step forward in digital frame technology, featuring the larges memory capacity available and true portability with rechargeable batteries and an auto rotate function. Leave the frame on 24/7 and don’t worry about energy use as the frame will turn on or off by itself whenever there is movement in the room.”

The new Fidelity Digital Photo Vault isn’t wireless, but it’s still a great digital picture frame. Expect to see it in stores in July, priced at around $399.00.

The 17″ Digital Spectrum Gold Digital Picture Frame: Beautiful!

Posted on May 29, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

Digital Spectrum is well known for the superior quality of its wireless/digital picture frames, and this new frame is no exception.

This is the 17-inch Digital Spectrum Gold.  Isn’t it a beauty?

It’s not wireless, but the high quality 17″ TFT LCD golden frame has a generous internal memory and will play JPEG images, Mp3’s, and videos.  You can program and control your digital frame with the wireless remote.   Digital Spectrum is one of the most reputable names in wireless/digital picture frames – my own wireless frame is a Digital Spectrum frame – and you can purchase and display this frame with confidence.  Not only is it absolutely beautiful, it’s also absolutely dependable.

And hey, if you don’t like the gold, there are several other frame options to choose from.

This frame is priced at $317.99, and it’s going fast.

Graduation Is A Time to Add Pictures to your Wireless Digital Picture Frame!

Posted on May 28, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

It’s graduation time, and what better way to share the many excellent pictures of your favorite graduate than to put them on your FrameChannel account so you can see them as part of the slideshow on your wireless digital picture frame?  In fact, put your pictures on almost any photo-sharing account, such as Flickr or Picasa,  and you can use FrameChannel to handle them.

If the grandparents and other relatives have a wireless picture frame, you can send the pictures directly to it.  Grandma at home or in the nursing home can still feel and be a part of the family when she sees her grandchildren in cap and gown.

In fact, if Grandma has a wireless frame, and you use your Eye-fi memory card, she can see the graduation in real time!  As you take pictures, they’ll be instantly uploaded into your FrameChannel account or almost any other picture account, and as such will be instantly appearing on the wireless digital picture frame.

Remember, wireless digital picture frames are so awesome, they’re almost like magic.

Hello Kitty Digital Photo Frame/Mp3 Player: Perfect Gift for PreTeen Girls!

Posted on May 27, 2008 by Jane Goodwin at 12:05 am

Little girls have loved Hello Kitty since. . . well, for a long time, and it’s understandable: adorable never goes out of style.  The tiny little kindergarten girls who wanted Hello Kitty pencils and lunchbox still love Hello Kitty, but now those girls are older and they want a Hello Kitty Mp3 player with a digital picture frame.  Trust me on this one.

This is not a toy; it’s a real Mp3 player and a real digital picture frame.  It supports Mp3’s, WMA’s and WAV files, as well as AVI video playback and most picture files.  The 1.5″ LCD display screen might be small, but it packs 64MB of built-in flash memory, and you can always add more pictures with almost any memory card up to 2 GB.

The earbuds, neckstrap, and carrying pouch are included, and the built-in rechargeable battery rechards via the USB port.  Easy!

You can find the Hello Kitty Digital Photo Frame/Mp3 Player right now for $32.99 at Best Buy.
