LCD Prices Going Up?
A recent article posted on The New York Times technology blog discussed an interesting trend in the digital frame market–as more competition enters the market, the price of digital frames is rising, not falling. The reason? High consumer demand and the limited availability of LCD panels.
The article goes on to state that digital frames will be “the world’s fastest-growing application for small/medium display” this year. Prices are expected to drop 3.3 percent by the end of the quarter.
