ChinaVision Introduces WiFi-Detecting Pen

wifipen2I’ve posted before about the WiFi-detecting t-shirt, but today, I’m going to tell you about the WiFi-detecting pen.

First of all, it’s a real pen: a nice pen, in fact.

But it’s also got a built-in 2.4G, 802.11 b/g WiFi hotspot finder, and that makes this pen the coolest pen EVER.

Put two button cell batteries in this pen and you’ve got a really classy way of telling whether or not you’re in or near (within 30 meters) a wireless hotspot; the pen’s four LED lights will signal the strength of the hotspot.

Oh, and don’t worry when the ink is all used up; this pen is refillable. It’s cheap, too: less than eight bucks.

Not eighty. Eight. What a deal.
