Sumvision’s Akita II is more than just a digital picture frame: it’s a digital multi-media frame!

That’s right, this frame does far more than merely display pictures and play Mp3’s; it also plays movies from a variety of formats, including MPEG-4, DivX, and Xvid, among others.

The 7-inch frame has a 16:9 aspect TFT LCD display (480 x 234 pixel resolution), a full navigation file menu system (displays all music and video files in one menu), an infrared remote control (wireless), music and video standard broadcast/stop/suspend volume control, mute, playback. . .not to even mention the standard slideshow features.

The Akita frame supports both horizontal and vertical displays.

How will you load it full of pictures, music, and movies? Easy. You can use the USB port, your memory stick or flash drive, and any SD/MMC/MS card.

The frame comes with two different borders so you can choose between black or white.

File formats supported by the Akita frame are: JPG, Mp3, WMA, AVI, MP4, DAT, Mpeg1/2/4, DivX, and XviD..
