Wireless/Digital Photo Frames Are The Perfect Gift For A Patient And His Family!
The husband of one of my dear internet friends had a terrible accident a few days ago, and has been drifting in and out of a deep coma ever since. He and his wife have ten children, and it’s just not possible for her to sit with him every moment. She hates to leave him for many reasons, one of which is the fact that every once in a while he seems to “almost” wake up for a moment, and during that moment, he focuses on the many picture frames of their children, each other, and various family members his wife has placed on the table beside his bed.
I’ve mentioned before that a wireless/digital picture frame would be an ideal thing to have in hospital rooms, nursing homes, etc, and this is a prime example of why. With an ever-changing screenshow of familiar faces on which this man might focus, who knows how much sooner he might awaken and be more aware of “who” everyone is, because of that picture frame by his bedside?
Often, a coma patient’s family will place dozens of individual picture frames within easy sight of the patient, and they take up a LOT of room. One good-sized wireless/digital picture frame would do the same thing, on an even larger scale (no room could possibly hold separate ordinary picture frames for the huge number of individual photos one wireless/digital picture frame can easily contain!
If the wireless/digital picture frame was also an Mp3 player, as so many of them are, it would be even better! The patient could not only see an ever-changing flow of familiar faces; he could also hear their familiar voices, reassuring him and helping him regain complete consciousness and sensibility again. The bright LCD screens on most wireless/digital picture frames would be easy for an ill person to see, too.
