The Digital Spectrum web site asserts the availability of their new wireless entry (Memory Frame - MF-8104Premium - Wireless Digital Picture Frame) in February. For all of us that follow the digital frame market, this is exciting news!

External Universal RSS Feed Support

Not only will it integrate with Flickr, AOL Pictures, Webshots, and Windows Live Spaces, but you can also configure your own RSS feed. CNN’s picture of the day waiting for you on your kitchen frame as you enjoy your first cup of coffee. Content providers get ready!

Remote Control to easily allow configuration

See the image below where the frame identifies all the available wireless networks for user selection. This should make frame setup a breeze with onscreen menus. Will this be the first “plug and play” wireless frame?

We’ll have to wait to see what this means! Are groups supported? Mobile phone and email support? Messaging? Needed functionality to drive the wireless photo frame into the home market in big numbers.
